The Legndary Jacksons Headed For Their Vegas Residency

Britney Spears has just started luring younger crowds to her recently launched Las Vegas spectacle inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. But the pop star is about to gain some new neighbors at a smaller venue nearby.
The Jacksons have inked a residency deal with Planet Hollywood that will see them perform 40 concerts, promoters for the show announced on Thursday.
Legendary Motown pop musicians The Jacksons are opening a residency as part of the RockTellz & CockTails series at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
The Jacksons have been signed to perform 40 shows Feb. 20 to April 27; the run coincides with rocker Meat Loaf‘s own RockTellz residency that reopens Feb. 13 in the same showroom.
In the RockTellz series, the artists not only perform many of their hit songs, but also share personal stories of their musical careers.
The Jacksons had nine No. 1 hits and 14 Top 10 hits, including “ABC,” “I Want You Back” and “I’ll Be There.” The group are made up of brothers Tito, Jackie, Jermaine and Marlon. The original lineup as The Jackson 5 also included younger brother Michael, known around the world as the King of Pop, who died in 2009.
RockTellz creator Adam Steck said he is honored to offer The Jacksons as the second residency act for the series.
“Audiences are going to love hearing their unbelievable stories and of course, the songs that have helped them become so treasured and adored worldwide,” said Steck, who is also CEO of SPI Entertainment.
This extravagent Las Vegas Show The Jacksons is scheduled to perform at 9:30 p.m. Thursdays – Sundays in the PH Showroom.
